Fluxed Trance 31 May -20 June
Form Gallery will be hosting Jane McCulla for a solo exhibition through the month of June. Capturing something in a state of movement is very familiar in the world of photography, freezing a moment in time that would otherwise pass in a flash – Jane McCulla hopes to portray this idea with her new ceramic pieces.
Jane has developed her own firing style, using clam shells as buffers between stacked ceramic forms wrapped in salt-soaked straw. Her ceramic pieces have also won several awards and are held in both private and public collections worldwide.
Making Space 10 June - 20 August
This exhibition involves six diverse artists collectives and over thirty individuals practicing in the New Zealand art community.
The aim of the exhibition is to invite diverse communities to connect, create art, encourage conversationalist - from kava circles and regalia making to myth-makers and hip shakers, there is something for everyone.
